Diane A. Curran is the author of The Marketing Deck, a one-of-a-kind book and game suite with a custom card deck, published in September 2016. The 3rd in this series, its Play-by-Playbook is publishing on May 15, 2017.
A marketing consultant for many years, she is the founder of The Marketing Deal and its CEO (Creative Excitement Officer!) cavorting happily inside her computer and elsewhere, celebrating 44 years of marketing while exploring new territories as an energetic Boomer.
Diane’s worked with thousands of clients and managed projects for everything from Winter Olympics fundraising campaigns, the early stages of Fidelity Investments, and a wide range of high tech, business-to-business marketers, and many regional not-for-profit and cultural organizations during her Boston days. Since moving west, she has focused on small business and professionals in practice, helping more than one quietly talented artist find their public voice, and many new owners spread their wings, as she works with wonderful entrepreneurial spirits at every stage of business here in California.
When she left Boston, little did she know her decades as an artist would find her teaching people about Kings Louis XIV, XV and XVI, among the Getty Museum’s treasure trove of lavish French art and other exquisite collections. Leading many tours, Diane is fond of inspiring visitors to ponder and engage in lively chats on questions like: “What message is this work of art sending to you?”
